Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling. In the early 20th century, the Gracie family developed BJJ using influences from Judo and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. BJJ promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person using leverage and proper technique can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant. BJJ can be trained for self defense, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and is a must for mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. Sparring and live drilling play a major role in training.
We offer authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with direct linage to Ricardo “De La Riva” Goded, the most technical fighter in the history of the sport. Our facility offers recreational and competitive level Jiu-Jitsu classes for adults, teens, and kids.
